Our hands-on training lab seats a maximum of 5 students. Our cozy setup is conducive to group learning, and most sessions generally turn out to be very interactive. The size of the lab is perfect for special training sessions for 3-5 members of a single company. Besides our regularly scheduled classes, customized training sessions can also be created and presented.

Meet The Staff

|
Michael Lenoir
A native of Long Beach, Michael began his career as an electrical design engineer with Harris Corporation of Melbourne, Florida. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug in 1988, he left Harris and started a software development company that created telephone voice response systems. After selling out to a group of investors in 1990, he returned to Mississippi and worked as a Research and Development Engineer with LDDS (which later became WorldCom.) In 1992, Matrix Solutions, Inc., was formed.
Michael provides network consulting services, project managment services and software development consulting. He is also the primary provider of Time MattersŪ
practice management consulting services.
Michael has two degrees – a Masters
of Science in Computer Engineering from Ole Miss, and a Bachelor
of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State. Industry certifications have been earned from Novell®, Citrix®, Timeslips® and Time Matters®.
Michael resides in Brandon with his wife Rachael, son Seth and daughter Clara.

Don E. Swan
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Don began
his career as a database programmer for Meta3 of
Jackson in 1997. After returning to school to work on
a business management degree, he returned to work as
a FoxPro programmer and network administrator for
Steel Solutions while saving for continued
education. Don left Steel Solutions to work as a
Service Representative for Gateway Computers, where
he took over duties as a business representative and
support specialist. He joined Matrix in the early
summer of 2002. Don provides system maintenance and
preventive engineering, as well as general technical
assistance.
Don graduated from
S.H.A.P.E. American High School in Mons, Belgium.
He attended Tulane University and Ole Miss, where he
majored in Computer Engineering and Business
Management. He is a CompTIA A+ certified
technician, and is currently working on his
Microsoft Professional certification.
Don resides in Pearl with his
wife Melanie and two children, Donovan and Isabella. |

Trey Smith
Senior Technician Trey Smith is a Computer Engineering Graduate of USM. He previously worked at Trustmark Bank and at local technology firm Synergetics. He holds certifications from Microsoft ( MCSE ,) Citrix, Checkpoint and Cisco.
Trey is married and lives in Jackson. |

Will Townsend
Will joined Matrix in May, 2006. He was previously employed by SkyTel as a Systems Integration/Support Engineer where his duties included UNIX system administration, Windows system administration, RSA/ACE Server SecurID administration, as well as server and PC troubleshooting and building.
Will is an Industrial Engineering graduate of Mississippi State University and has completed some computer science coursework at Jackson State University.
He resides in Jackson with his wife Bridget, son Brian and daughter Chase.

Kathy Thomas
A lifelong resident of Jackson, Kathy joined Matrix in 2005. Prior to working as an Account Manager at a local direct mail company, she held a variety of positions at Forestry Suppliers, including Customer Service Representative, Bid Specialist and List Management Supervisor.
In addition to her bookkeeping duties, she assists our clients with issues regarding Billing Matters®, the billing/accounting program used by Matrix Solutions, Inc. She also coordinates our Backup Tape Testing service and our License Renewal service. She is currently enrolled at Belhaven College, pursuing a BA degree in Business Administration.
She resides in Brandon with her husband and children.
